More of what I've been up to

Hello again!  I couldn't find where I shared this, so forgive me if you've already seen it.  I ordered the DMC box and it was filled with DMC floss.

October House - The Itch to Stitch and Pumpkin Row, above.   Also, Happy B Day and Bee Your Best Self
A few quick finishes.  top is Love by Lizzie Kate.  Second is Love - 2014 Valentine freebie from The StitcherHood.  The Lizzie Kate piece is stitched on an unknown taupe colored evenweave with DMC floss.  The Love freebie is stitched on an unknown pink evenweave with DMC floss #99.

Valentine Mini Bouquet by Jeannette Douglas Designs.  Stitched on 40 ct Pearled Barley New Castle linen with DMC floss.
Stargazer earrings, a freebie by Deb Roberti.  Top is turquoise picasso superduos and gold seedbeads and earring findings.  The bottom left is red wine superduos, gold and redwood seed beads, and gold findings.  The bottom right are violet rainbow superduos with gold seedbeads and findings.  Very fun design to stitch!
Another from Needlework Galleria.  Jingle all the Way by Praiseworthy Stitches
Silent Night by Mill Hill.  These look like so much fun to stitch!

I thought I took a picture of the messy table in my craft room before I cleaned it up, but I didn't.  That table gets messy so quickly when I just want to put stuff in there instead of putting it up,

See you soon!~~

What I've been up to

Hello!!  I don't know if anyone has missed me or not, but that's okay.  This may be a long post, so grab a drink and settle in.

I went to the Needlework Galleria in September in St. Charles, Missouri.  Had a blast!  I just drove out Friday morning and came home Saturday afternoon.  But boy, I did some damage, lol!  $$$   Some of what I got .....

I don't remember which doll this is for, but it is one of (I can't remember her name!) - GPA are her initials.

My Spooky Bag by Romy's Creations - I took her class and it was fun!

A bead kit - Honeybee Kaleidoscope

Another doll head, I believe this one is for The Chocolate Girl by the name I can't remember.   I remembered her initials - GPA.

Another bead kit - Poinsettia Ornament.  Should be fun!
Believe it or not pincushion kit - contents below.

One Stitch at a time and Chubby Fox - the fox by Jeanette Douglas Designs
Scary Feather Tree

Gingerbread Cottage Drum - saw it stitched up.  SO pretty!
My favorite Pet biscornu by Romy's Creations
Crosses of the Kingdom by Rosewood Manor - another I saw stitched up and it is so gorgeous!

Buzz by Shepherds Bush, and the bag to stitch it on
Ann Hunt Nailsea 1805 quaker sampler, and I started it, progress below.

Beautiful Things by Primrose Cottage
Chubby Squirrel by Jeannette Douglas Designs
Queen by Shepherds Bush and the bag to stitch it on.

I think that is all from Needlework Galleria.  I also got a couple exclusives from a Facebook Group I am in (can't remember the name)

A Christmas design by HOD and all the fabric, fibers, and boards to finish!
Simple Gifts Spool by Jeannette Douglas Designs, including the spool above, and the fibers and fabrics below.
And I have a finish!

Hannah Stephenson, by Just Stitching Along on Etsy.  Stitched 1 over 1 and 1 over 2 on Soft Ivory New Castle linen using DMC floss.  Started in September and finished last night.  I love this one and wish my pictures turned out better.  A photographer I'm not, LOL!

I know I missed a couple things from Needlework Galleria, so may post again in the next couple days.

Had a wonderful Thanksgiving and Christmas and now it is SO COLD here!  It was 9 degrees F at noon!  At least the sun is shining and the sky is a beautiful shade of blue with no clouds in sight!

Happy New Year, too!  See you soon!

I am just now watching the opening ceremonies in Paris and I have to say - WOW!  I think these are the best opening ceremonies I have ever seen!  LOVE IT!

I wish all the athletes safe and successful games!

Finish and more stash

I finished Star Spangled.  The fabric below is what I will use to back it.  I am going to make it into a small pillow/pinkeep.  Stitched on mystery blue linen with Ginnie Thompson flower thread in red and blue.  Fun stitch and I love the flower thread!  Thanks again, Robin!

I follow a blog, Brynwood Needleworks, and won this scissor fob that she made.  It is done in gold and green metal threads in a goldwork technique.  He was so hard to photograph!  But he is gorgeous and I call him Prince Charming! LOL!  Thanks to Donna at Brynwood Needleworks!

And yes, I bought more stash!  I also bought some finishing materials.
Pumpkin Row by October House Needleworks
The Itch to Stitch, also by October House
God Bless America by Mill Hill
Happy B-day and Bee Your Best Self, both by Lila's Studio
The JCS 2024 Halloween Issue and a round finishing form
I had fun picking out finishing fabrics!  Both patriotic fabrics and the bee fabric on the right are all sparkly.
Found some cute ribbons, sew on gems, and buttons
Bees!  Buzzzzzzzzzzzz.... ;-)

Whew, I think that's it.  It's too hot to do much outside, so I hope to get some finishing done inside where it's cool!

See ya!~~
