Blizzard!

And not the kind from Dairy Queen!  Hello everyone!  We had a blizzard today!  I did manage to make it to work this morning before it got too bad, but left to come home around noon.  Here are a couple pictures.
 The back yard
 The fish pond
My car and the wood pile.  We ended up with about 7 inches.  It has stopped snowing now, but the wind has picked up.  Should be much better by tomorrow morning.  The dogs had a good time in the snow, too, but I didn't get any pictures of that.

I ordered a few things for me for Christmas and they came on Christmas Eve!  Here they are....
I joined the Hardanger Accessories Club at Nordic Needle and this is the box.  Isn't it gorgeous!
We will be stitching an insert for the box and hardanger smalls to go in it.  It starts in January.  The scissors and ruler were included.   This will be so much fun!
I also ordered three charts for the Scarlet Letter SAL.  L to R - Emma Miles, Sarah Willson, and Sarah Tatum.  I am going to start with Emma Miles.  I've pulled HDF silks that I had in my stash and will get a picture of them on the linen as soon as I can get it cut and ready.  I'm going to use 40 ct. New Castle, but can't find a stitch count for the chart to figure out the size to cut it!  Anyone know the stitch count?

We had a wonderful Christmas.  Both of my sons and their families were here at one time or another during the day, along with 2 of my 3 nieces and their families.  It was a wonderful day!

Here is a picture of Jack, my oldest grandson, asleep on the couch.  He had a busy day!

I hope you all had a wonderful day, too!

Eskie smiles,

Terri

Wow! That's a lot of snow! How nice that you couldn't make a choice for the Scarlet Letter SAL, so you got all 3 charts! The box from Nordic Needle is beautiful!
