Lots to share!

Hello everyone!  I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving!  I sure did!  The best part was finding out I'm going to be a grandma again!  My oldest son and his wife are expecting in July!  Woot!

I have lots to share, so grab a drink and a snack and get cozy!

First - we went to a local antique mall and I found this there for $20!  It is beautifully done, too!  It is not signed or dated.

There is blackwork around the edges and the solid borders are done with overdyed.  Simply beautiful!

I've been crocheting frilly scarves!  Here are a few and I still have more to do.

From the left - shades of red, purple with glitter, shades of white, and black and gold.  These are SO fun to do!

My new "grand-dog" Buddha.  He is 3 months old and so sweet!

Finished these a couple nights ago and they are now hanging on my tree.

Went to my local Goodwill store recently and found this set of flannel sheets.  They are so soft and warm and they make me smile!

Stitched this up recently, 1 over 1 using some overdyed threads from my stash.  This was a freebie from Carol at iStitch.

I have joined another SAL.  This one is from Nicola at Stitching by a Cornish Seashore.  It is the Scarlet Letter SAL.  I haven't decided which one to stitch yet, but have it narrowed done to 3 or 4.  Tough decision!  This will be a year long SAL to celebrate Nicola's milestone birthday.  You should join us!  The details can be found on her blog

For the "new" year, any "new" starts are going to be "new" (to me) designers that I've never stitched from before.  The Scarlet Letter falls into this category and I will be deciding shortly which one I want to stitch.  I am also going to start a Mirabilia, which I've never stitched before, but have several in my stash.  I think I'm going to start with The Scent of Old Roses.  Gorgeous!

Well, I thought I had more, but I don't.  I will have more in a few days, though, I'm sure.  It's cloudy, cold, and rainy here today, so it's a perfect day to do some stitching, baking, reading, and decorating.
