Hello everyone! Sorry it's been a while since I've posted. I was out of action for about a week with a kidney infection and then tummy troubles from the antibiotic! All better now!
Went to a stitch-in a couple weeks ago with the Hoosier Stitchers group that I belong to. We had a great time as usual and there was about 15 of us there! It was at a local quilt shop, but they also have a yarn section and a cross stitch section. The shop is Always in Stitches in Noblesville, Indiana. Their website is www.alwaysinstitches1.com. It is a great shop and they were so nice to let us meet there! Here is some of what I got.
Not a great picture, but it's LK Life's a Stitch and Dinky Dyes Silks
A piece of 40 ct Pearled Barley linen
The latest Just Cross Stitch issue and I am a Stitcher by Cherry Wood Designs. I also got a piece of fabric that is Chocolate Raspberry in color. Didn't get a picture of that yet, but it is yummy.
The shop also put together some gift bags for us and in it was this cute pair of scissors!
There was also some chocolate and a couple other small things in the bag, but I don't remember what!
Here is my progress on Emma Miles. I haven't had a chance to work on it lately, but hopefully will here in just a few minutes!
I will try to get a better picture next time.
I recently got a new to me stitching chair and I love it!
That's an electric fireplace if I get very cold, my laptop is right there, and my bookcase right behind that. There's a clip (by the Daylight Company) that holds a chart on the bookcase edge and a light next to the chair. A couple of cozy afghans makes it the perfect spot! Of course, the dogs like it too!
I'll try not to be so long before the next post!
Eskie smiles,
Terri

Love it! Your stitching spot looks so cozy. Your progress on Emma Miles looks great too!
Wow! That is quite the stitching area! Love it.
Love your stitching place. Lots of nice stash too. Wish Lansing was closer to down there. My mom is from Indianapolis and some of her brothers are still down there.
How nice that so many stitching friends could meet and stitch together! Our group has also met at a LNS but not 15 of us! Your new chair looks fantastic! I always sit on the couch with my feet up on the footstool, but your chair looks so much better! I need one of those, but I'm sure my pets will love it as much as I will! LOL
Great stitching place.x
