I had to take my oldest dog, Allie, to the vet today. She had an anal gland abscess and rupture. She's still dopy from the anesthesia.
This is my first stitchy finish this year. Stitched on unknown linen/evenweave with Dinky Dyes silks. It was a fun stitch!
I hope everyone is warm and safe! I'll be back soon with some other updates.

Poor pup! We had one that had a rupture but she didn't have anything done besides a clean up gel and antibiotic.
Look at that sweet face...
I hope Allie's okay. Cute finish.

Hope she feels better soon, nice finish.

Oh, I hope she's better soon!
I love your finish! Its cute as a button!
Poor pup!
Life the "Life's a Stitch". I've seen a lot of friends do this one and use it in so many ways - floss tags, scissors fob, needle books. I many have to stitch it up myself soon!
This is another lovely version of that tarvelling pattern. I don't know if yours is the travelling one, or maybe it's your own. Great finish!
Poor little pup.
Poor Baby...so sad. Lovely stitches.
keep warm...aren't we getting sick of Indiana weather!!
Awww, poor puppy! Life's a Stitch looks great! I just finished that one too but I didn't do the satin stitches very well because it was on Aida.
She sure is beautiful as is your stitch
Poor puppy dog. I'm sure she was awfully sick with that.
Love your stitched piece. Love the colors also.
Awhhh, poor Allie. Hope she feels better soon.
Your stitching looks great.
Thank you for the comment about my sampler blanket! That was so sweet. Love your embroidery piece, and your dogs are cute! Anal glands, bleh! I've had dogs with problems with them too. So gross.
Pretty finish, congratulations. I hope Allie gets better soon.
Hope Allie heals fast! Your Life's a Stitch is beautiful. I stitched it too and used some silks as well but not all in silk. Yours really came out pretty. Congrats on a great finish!!! love Annette
