Overdue thanks, a finish, and a rescue

Kim over at Wisdom with Needle and Thread celebrated her 60th birthday this year by sending out 60 RAKS and I was lucky enough to get one.  This is what she sent me.

The top photo is a cute pattern with the pre-finished bag and the bottom is a pincushion she made.  I love the "brooch" on it.  Thanks, Kim, and sorry it took me so long to publicly thank you!

Went to our local Goodwill store and found this for only $4!
It is a beautiful tray with a Hardanger insert done in gold mettalic on a cream and gold mettalic fabric.  It is gorgeous!

My stitching Mojo has abandoned me, but I have been crocheting and beading.  I finished a lapghan last night, just need to weave in the ends.  Red and cream yarn in a granny stripe pattern with a shell stitch border.  I am on a quest to use up most, if not all of my yarn...so I can get more, lol!
If I  don't get back here before, I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a happy, healthy new year!
