IHSW update and a few other things

Hello! I didn't get to stitch as much as I wanted this weekend because I had to take Allie to the vet early Saturday morning to have this removed from her mouth.

I know it's not a very good picture, but it was hard to photograph. It is a spring! Kind of like one from the inside of an ink pen, only heavier, more industrial. I have no idea how long it was there or how she did it! The vet said it had been there at least a couple weeks. She had to be sedated and received some anesthesia, pain medication, and antibiotics, but as you can see now, she's doing well.

Here is where I started on Dance of the Roses for the weekend.

And here is where I ended up just a short while ago.

I worked on the bottom left and the upper right, near the needle minder. I'm going to do some more in just a bit.

I won a surprise package from Minnie at All XX's and it arrived a couple days ago.

Some cute patterns and a couple small kits.

And I haven't looked too closely at this one, but I think it was a freebie. It's a very nice wedding sampler that I just may do for my son and DIL that got married last November. I've been looking for one to do for them! Thanks, Minnie!!!!

And last, but not least, I belong to Hoosier Stitchers group and had ordered a bag last summer, I think it was. It arrived last week and I'm just now getting around to posting pictures.

The front.....

and the back. Can you see the pockets? The inside of the bag doesn't have any pockets, but the straps are adjustable and there is a place on the outside to fasten a key chain! I really love this bag!

Well, that's all for now. I'll be back in a day or two with my February TUSAL post.

Eskie smiles,

Terri

Poor Allie. Glad to see she's doing well. Good progress on Dance of the Roses. What a lovely package and that bag is just awesome. Love all the pockets. Exactly what a stitcher needs :)

Hugs,
Veronica.

The things our pets get into. My cat once had once of those plastic tabs you sometimes get on bread stuck in his back teeth once. I didn't even know it was there! Super embarrassing when the vet pulled it out.

Oh your poor dog, that must have been painful for her. Great progress on your stitching and what a nice win.
